Vinyl Carpet For Ballet Cance Moving Into A New Home, Should I Replace The Carpet W/ Vinyl Or Laminate?

Moving into a new home, should I replace the carpet w/ vinyl or laminate? - vinyl carpet for ballet cance

Hello, I moved into a new house and I have to replace the carpet throughout the house W vinyl or laminate.

I have older animals and incontinence is always a problem. You do not want carpet pet urine catch and allergens. Basically I want the look of wood floors (but cheaper), with features for easy cleaning occasional accidents.

What kind of flooring should I go? Plastic sheeting or vinyl? Thank you for your time. ~ Slacker

Hands down, the vinyl is easier to keep it clean, rolling in the urine may be damaged.

You can check tiles. Ceramic / stone tiles can be cleaned easily and can be treated at the first drop to resist stains and a Teflon-based sealant.

Hope this helps.

Veneers are great, but buy the best! DuPont me in my living room floor and kitchen. The kitchen actually looks like the tiles and the rest looks like wood. I have a problem with dog urine and gut. Laminates are easy to clean and maintain, and it is to "float" instead of glued, or trapped under the molding. I solved the problem of the choice of a brown vinyl caulking the edges of the baseboards and around the chimney seal, so that no accidents. Note that water or liquid does not collect on the floor of this title. Therefore, the seal that moves in a certain degree, because it is vinyl.

Under these circumstances, I for PVC floor () would not tile, and to decide on the establishment of rolled strip so that it could be a chance to seep into the urine on the floor.

My choice would be rolling. This can be a DIY project if you're interested. You can use your own vinyl if you wish to make, but it is painful, particularly for a large area.

I renovation work in my area ... I have two again. And by far the least expensive vinyl, but can break more easily by simply moving things in it. As a stove, refrigerator, furniture and roll-up / join everyone in the room to fix it and get vinyl at the time of pain and can be an act of God, to dissolve the glue.
Laminate costs a little more, but it is much better. You can scratch, but it takes a lot to do, because it is very difficult. It goes something like easy ways of real wood floors. Some of the new laminates look really good and very close to real wood flooring.
Below is a link to some pictures of laminate flooring looks good.

Since the laminate flooring, no matter how you see, have cracks, even if they mesh. When we talk about incontinence, I would be with the linoleum floor. Thus, there is no chance of getting a urine into the cracks ... In addition, vinyl easy to clean.

This pet-aging .... Nice to see you care enough to keep yet to ... Not everyone would. Select a pleasantly soft vinyl for their aging bones ... :)
