I live in Washington State, and my climate is similar to yours. A plant that grows beautiful rhododendrons that bloom the state, not less. They are green and beautiful flowers in spring. You should carefully with soil acidity () of the acidic soils, but can be adjusted if necessary with soil additives. The azaleas are also good (in fact, represent a subset of the Rhododendron species). The vine grows well (and the name, I feel that would do here!), English ivy works. Japanese maples are spring and autumn, beautiful red color (they are brilliant in the autumn), and is very flexible, even in small spaces - so that even visited the bonsai plants included! The roses are a good choice, too - and there are roses in almost all the time. You can also go far enough north that plants with bulbs of tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, gladioli and provide color in spring and summer and warm enough, petunias, begonias, cannas grow Coleus and Caladium - all offerthe colors are beautiful and the flowers or leaves. Impatiens are good, fast color for spring and summer, and are available in all shades of red, orange, pink and white.

Good luck!

I HYDRANGEA plant because it is a shrub, and I think it would be a successful forecast. It blooms from May to September. I also propose that rhododendrons, a perennial shrub can, however, 10.15 meters high and produces flowers from June to mid July, about sheepskin other evergreen shrub with beautiful, grows about 10 feet, and produces beautiful pink or red flowers in late spring but the flowers are susceptible to frost, but can produce beauty. I think all these also not be in your part of the world.
